How to create a PDF with Vector Images
DocRaptor supports vector images - both external and inline! Scalable Vector Graphics (or SVGs) are the primary method of inserting vector images into a website and DocRaptor works the same way.
External SVGs
To render external SVGs, refer to the SVG's URL and set any necessary styling properties:

Inline SVGs
Inline SVGs are similar and require less CSS:

The SVG source can simply be copied into your HTML. You will need to remove the XML declaration (the <?xml...>
part) and the width/height attributes the <svg>
element. This makes it easier to control the image with CSS.

Convert SVGs directly into PDFs
You can use either inline or external SVGs in a DocRaptor PDF, or you can convert SVG code directly to PDFs with DocRaptor. Since SVGs are based on XML, you don't even need to wrap them in an <html>
tag before passing the file code to DocRaptor.

The DocRaptor JavaScript Library
The DocRaptor JavaScript library makes it easy to create PDFs with JavaScript. The library does not require jQuery, but you can use jQuery to define your document content. When a PDF is requested, the library constructs a hidden form and submits it to the DocRaptor API. The form is necessary to trigger the browser download window.
This library exposes your API key in your website source code. This code should never be used in a publicly-accessible location, instead try using our referrer-based API or a server-side agent such as PHP or Ruby.
